Marketing isn’t just about promoting a brand

Content, ads, newsletters, funnels, signage… it’s about 20% of what Marketing is. Let’s break it down to help your brand grow.

Content (just like this article), ads, newsletters, funnels, signage… it’s about twenty percent of what Marketing is.

20% Strategy (who you’re targeting and how your brand is positioned)
👇
20% Product (what do you offer, what does it do and how does it help)
👇
20% Price (are you affordable, expensive, moderately priced, etc)
👇
20% Placement (where a customer can find you/buy from you)
👇
20% Promotion (how/where will a customer discover or be reminded of you)

Most importantly, without marketing, you have no brand, otherwise, no one would know about it to consider it, right? And perhaps without marketing, you have no profit to grow that brand and your business — more on that later.

Without a strategy, product, price, and placement, you aren’t properly marketing, you’re arguably just playing with the fun shit. This is why it’s the first thing to be cut from your budget OR if you are a marketer, this’d be why your services are the first thing to be cut or heavily…
